The Black Bull, Market Overton,
has been a traditional village pub for over 200 years.
Under the stewardship of local
landlords Kristy & Kevin we enter the next chapter
of the Black Bulls history. Kristy & Kevin combine
everything you would want from a good local pub with
a desire to share with visitors everything that is good
about Rutland.
Overlooking views of fields and
the church in the picturesque village of Market Overton,
The Black Bull is a wonderful base for a break in Rutland
and is an ideal spot for a pint of local beer and some
delicious home cooked food.
Rutland is famous for being a
small county with a great deal to offer - with a plethora
of places to visit and local activities that often are
known to a national forum. Such is the International
Bird Watching Fair at Egleton, the Burley Horse Trials,
many International Sailing Events at Rutland Water or
the world renowned gardens of Geoff Hamilton, made famous
from the BBC Gardeners World series.
Please see local activities section
for many of the seasonal attractions, whether you are
looking for participation, recreation or to simply find
somewhere to kick back and enjoy the natural surroundings
at its best.
