What a great village pub, very friendly, looks great, food great and really good choice, allowing my dog Marlie in was an absolute gem as we do not leave her anywhere. I can not recommend this more highly, I live around 30 minutes drive away and are staying at the lodge in our touring van but will definitely drive up for just a meal. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome X.Tripadvisor
We had a really lovely dinner at The Black Bull, service was very good, atmosphere very relaxed and food delicious. There was plenty of variety and my Chilli was certainly Home made ( excellent kick) ! Only wished they had custard to accompany our puds – that would have made my evening.
I would highly recommend this pub for a lovely evening out.
We went here Saturday night for my friends birthday and we all had a fab time. there was 8 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food , especially as the prices were so reasonable as the food was of very high quality.
What made it extra special was Kevin the owner, he made us all feel very welcome, such a friendly happy guy.
If ever in the area again we will gladly call in .
Have stayed here a few times for bed and breakfast. Great value rooms, stayed in the front and back room. Back room is our favourite as a bit moremroomy. Breakfast is really yummy, set in the beautiful quaint pub downstairs. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this pub, b&b and all set in a gorgeous village location.Tripadvisor
